Business Barista – the book – its here!
I’m so excited I just had to write the title again! I have written a book about Microsoft Excel and it was published on December 20th on Amazon. It comes in Kindle or Paperback format.
My copies were delivered whilst I was away on a short break and I went and collected them yesterday from the collection point. So exciting! I had ordered 60 copies ( I am doing a book signing in February at Office* ) and so there were three boxes. I waited for a friend to help me with them as I can’t carry since my back operation last July.
Here they are on the couch in my office.
I admit, I was very excited to open them and to be honest I am still a little bit excited. It has been a long time dream to have a book in print. I have several other Microsoft books available as ebooks – you can get them from www.bookboon.com however this is the first time I have something in print. The book is also available on Kindle – if you are one of those people who likes to have digital copies.
Here is the moment I opened the first box!
You can get your copy from Amazon – here is a direct link to the page Business Barista – go get your copy!
The book is set in a coffee shop called Koffee Island. Matt the intrepid entrepreneur is helped by Lisa his office manager and Excel wiz. They work out how to see what the profits are, how to price the coffee, how to interpret the sales, see who is the best barista and more.
The blog about the book
There is also a blog about the book. Most of the story is to be found in the blog posts on the site www.businessbaristabook.com – go take a look.
I will be speaking at Office* 2018 at Olympia on February 28th. The topic for my session is Collaboration in Office 365. You can sign up here and book your sessions – there are some great people speaking and the exhibition is always good.
Office* is a show designed especially for PAs EAs and VAs and has content geared towards those roles.
I will be signing copies of my book around 10:30 so you can buy your book direct from me and get it signed!
Wishing you an #Excellent Day!
P.S. Remember to get your copy of the book! Business Barista
