Our Guest - Sarah Broadbent
Sarah is on a mission to help busy women open the door to a tidy home and tidy mind.
She believes that it’s not just about the decluttering, it’s about creating space for the things that matter and reconnecting with the joy that lives in your home.
Sarah has a military background. She was a Logistics Officer in the Royal Navy for 17 years and it was during her last few years in the navy, when she became a Mum, that she experienced the build-up of clutter in her home. The piles – you know the ones – that wink and sometimes even yell at you to tidy them up. But you don’t prioritise them when you already have so much on your daily to-do list. The cupboard’s that when you open them you have to navigate the jenga piles of Tupperware to find what you want.
It contributed to overwhelm and feeling as she wasn’t living the life she wanted to live. She felt she was doing all the things she needed to do rather than the things she wanted to do.
Then she realised that she had a choice. To take charge of herself, do the decluttering, make tidying easier and start doing more of what she wants to do.
Sarah has a free Facebook Group called The Tidy Space = Tidy Mind, she runs an Online Tidy Retreat called ‘The Great Big Tidy Up’ and offers Tidy-Up 1-2-1 packages. You can find The Tidy Company on Facebook and Instagram.
